Hello, I'm a PhD student in physics at Stanford and a visiting scholar at Forethought. My work is motivated by a deep concern for global suffering, and an equally deep optimism about the extraordinary futures we could build. I'm broadly interested in AI, digital minds, space expansion, and governance futurism.

Previously, I worked on AI interpretability methods. Before that, I worked in accelerator physics at SLAC and UCLA's Particle Beam Physics Lab, on plasma wakefield acceleration and microbunching for x-ray free electron lasers. Earlier still, I tracked atmospheric phenomena on Jupiter at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab.
